National Geological mapping: Finally a roadmap!

This May 12 in Rabat; Was organized a day dedicated to geology in the Ministry of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment, and in the presence of Chinese Ambassador in Rabat and geological executives, including former director of geology in Morocco.
On this occasion,the Minister Dr Amara conducted the presentation, for the first time in Morocco, of the national roadmap for the development of geological and geothermatic mapping.
The development of this roadmap is based on a rigorous analysis of the state of infrastructure in the country, and so will have an action plan articulated around strategic and operational objectives, including related mining strategy .
This action plan will mainly concern areas: CADETAF, Eastern Meseta, Central Morocco, Shouls bloc, Mauritanides region and the Laayoune-Dakhla Basin.
This day was marked by the delivery of scientific papers related to this field by the Ambassador of China to Morocco in the Directorate of Geology, and in the context of bilateral cooperation.
Furthermore, an agreement was also signed between Dr Amara and Prof. Lahcen Daoudi: Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Executive Training, in order to develop research in geology and geothematic.
