«Heavy truck and industrial body» in ecosystem

Date:

Just like the case of aeronautics, the “Heavy truck and industrial body” sector has in turn been structured as an ecosystem.
On this occasion, a performance contract was signed by several ministers as well as Adil Zaidi, President of the Heavy Weight and Bodywork group (GPLC), to accompany the deployment of the ecosystem.
By 2020, the industry is committed to bringing the sector’s workforce to 24,000 employees and the annual production to 34,500 units (against 6,000 in 2014), of which 30% will be destined for export.
It is also committed to contribute to the GDP by 8 billion dhs and to realize 6 billion dhs in export turnover.
The ecosystem will also have a significant effect in terms of improving road safety (rejuvenation of the circulating fleet) and energy efficiency (reduction of fuel consumption per kilometer)
